A lost backpack on a Turkish Airlines flight

Losing a personal belonging while travelling is stressful. Realising that the item is in another country after you have already returned home can make the situation feel even more complicated.

Tina and her family accidentally left their backpack on a Turkish Airlines flight. By the time they were trying to recover it, they were already outside Turkey and needed someone they could trust in Istanbul to manage the process on their behalf.

From Turkish Airlines lost property to international delivery

For an international passenger, dealing remotely with airline lost property procedures, authorisation requirements, collection and international shipping can quickly become overwhelming.

Ana Kurye helped coordinate the process step by step. The goal was simple: recover the lost backpack safely in Istanbul and return it to its owner in the United States.
