Phone Found at Istanbul Airport

Heinrich Waller left his Huawei Nova 9 smartphone near Gate B2 while charging it at Istanbul Airport on September 2, 2026.

The item was later registered by IGA Istanbul Airport Lost & Found under reference GMK0344931. This was an IGA Lost & Found recovery case, not a Turkish Airlines Lost Property case.

Authorization and Local Collection

Because Heinrich was already outside Turkey, Ana Kurye reviewed the release process and helped prepare the authorization route for local collection.

Phone verification details were handled directly with the Lost & Found office. Ana Kurye does not request or publish private passcodes or device access details.

Delivery to Austria

On September 15, 2026, Ana Kurye collected the Huawei Nova 9 and its charging cable from IGA Istanbul Airport Lost & Found.

The recovered items were checked, photographed and prepared for delivery to Bregenz, Austria. Heinrich confirmed on September 18, 2026 that the smartphone had arrived safely.
